About the classroom noise meter
Project the noise meter and the class can see its own volume. It opens on shy animals: while the room stays calm, animals come out and build something together, and if it gets too loud they run off and the build crumbles. Prefer something simpler? The buttons above switch to a green, yellow and red bar or to bouncy balls, and you set the limit. The microphone only measures loudness in your browser: nothing is recorded, saved or uploaded.
Ways to use it
- Quiet independent work: keep the bar in the green.
- Group work: agree on a "yellow is OK" level.
- Class reward: earn a point for every quiet five minutes.
