About the math spinners
The classic two-spinner math game, without printing or paper clips. Spin both wheels, and the problem appears: add, subtract or multiply the two numbers, then press "Show answer" to check. Subtraction always puts the bigger number first, so answers stay positive. Edit either wheel to practise a different range, such as 6 to 12 for harder facts.
Ways to use it
- Whole-class fact fluency warm-up on the projector.
- Partner game: each student spins one wheel and both solve.
- Math centers: race to write the answer before "Show answer".
Frequently asked questions
How do I change the numbers on the spinners?
Open "Edit entries" under a spinner and type the numbers you want, one per line, for example 6 to 12 for harder multiplication facts.
Can subtraction give negative answers?
No. The bigger number always goes first, so every subtraction problem has a positive answer (or zero).
Is there a single wheel of facts instead?
Yes. The addition, subtraction, multiplication and division wheels each hold every fact on one wheel.
