About the sweepstake generator
Running a sweep for a horse race, a football tournament or a song contest? Add the names of everyone taking part, set how many teams or horses there are, and draw. You can paste the team names so they show next to each number, reveal the draw one by one for a bit of drama, and work out the prize pool from the ticket price.
Ways to use it
- Workplace sweeps for big races and tournaments.
- Family sweepstakes for song contests and award shows.
- Fantasy league draft order with a printed sheet.
Frequently asked questions
Is the draw fair?
Yes. Names and numbers are shuffled with your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, and the draw is decided before anything is shown.
Can one person buy two tickets?
Yes. Add their name twice and they are drawn twice.
How many teams can I use?
Anything from 2 to 64. Set the number, and optionally paste the team names in order.
