About the true or false wheel
The true or false wheel gives an even 50/50 result. Teachers use it to make quiz review more fun: the class guesses, then the wheel decides whether the next statement should be a true or a false one. It also works for bluffing games.
Ways to use it
- Classroom review: spin to choose whether the next question is true or false.
- Bluffing game: the wheel decides if you tell a true or false story.
- Trivia night tiebreakers.
Running a true or false quiz with the wheel
Write a set of statements before class, half true and half false. Spin the wheel to decide which kind of statement you read next, and students show thumbs up for true or thumbs down for false. Because the wheel decides, students cannot guess the answer from a pattern in your questions.
Why guessing gets 50%
With two equal slices, a student who guesses every time will be right about half the time. To check real understanding, ask students to explain or correct false statements, or use "true, false or it depends" by adding a third slice.

Frequently asked questions
Is the true or false wheel really 50/50?
Yes. With one "True" and one "False" slice, each is exactly equally likely on every spin.
How can I use it for a bluffing game?
Spin in secret: if it lands on True, tell a real story about yourself; on False, make one up. Everyone else guesses which it was.
Is the wheel really random?
Yes. The winner is chosen by your browser’s random number generator before the wheel starts turning, and every slice has the same chance.
